CA Foundation's initial registration is valid for 3 years. During this duration, a candidate can attempt an exam twice a year (May & November). In total, 6 attempts in 3 years (2 attempts per year). If a candidate is unable to pass the CA exam, the candidate needs to re-validate the registration.
